The sunshade also partially works as a kill flash, meaning it eliminates unwanted reflections from your riflescope. The sunshade has a diameter of 50 mm and a length of 7.62 cm.
The sunshade is made of a lightweight alloy, so the overall weight of your gear increases only minimally, and like most riflescopes on the market it has an anti-reflective coating.
