The black rubber‑armoured body is resistant to abrasion and colour change. The WP version is filled with dry nitrogen, which ensures dust resistance and water resistance. It also prevents internal fogging during sudden temperature changes.
Special high‑transmission optical glass Bak4 was used in production. For treating the K4 lenses, a multiple SMC anti‑reflection coating (SuperMultiCoated) was applied. Thanks to the precise mechanics, focusing is easy even when wearing gloves. The package includes a practical strap and a case.
