The professional folding hand saw Bigboy 360-7 by the Japanese brand Silky is based on a long tradition of manufacturing reliable cutting tools and modern technology. Thanks to this, Silky tools are highly durable and sharp in all conditions.
The blade of the Silky Bigboy 360-7 hand saw is made of high-carbon steel and its shape is precisely laser-cut. The chrome-plated surface protects the saw against corrosion and external influences. The main advantage of the Bigboy saw is its high-quality toothing. The sharp teeth are sharpened on 4 sides, with only the cutting edges of the teeth being induction hardened. The rest of the surface remains soft and flexible.
Thanks to the blade’s ability to flex, the toothing is highly durable. In addition, the cutting surface is ground into an hourglass shape, which prevents the teeth from jamming during cutting. The tooth profile reduces resistance, so the material being cut does not tear. The worn blade can be easily replaced.
The extended handle of the Bigboy 360-7 saw increases comfort and makes cutting easier. The handle is made of a special material that prevents the saw from slipping out of your hand. Cutting is therefore faster and safer.
The saw blade has a length of 360 mm, with 7 teeth distributed over 30 mm. When the saw is folded, the blade is hidden inside the handle. This makes it easy to carry the saw in a backpack or in a tool bag.
