The Epic designers now come with something a bit more classic – the ONE Walnut series with an elegantly shaped walnut stock.
Introducing EPIC ONE – the new icon of the world‑renowned company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and turned it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is machined from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve that ensures maximum power with minimal hammer spring preload, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time, it reduces air waste and thus increases the shot count per fill. The hammer preload can be adjusted externally using a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with standard quick‑couplers. The air rifle features two manometers – one indicating the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the included tool within a range of 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc on the version with a 420mm barrel and 95cc on the 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with a non‑choked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows barrel pre‑tension (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrels are additionally fitted with an integrated K‑Baffle sound moderator, also ending in a 1/2UNF thread.
On the version with a 700mm barrel, after unscrewing the 1/2UNF threaded segment and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and probe).
To achieve the best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit is also available with a non‑choked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with a 17.7" twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑loaded magazine with a magnetically closed cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not spoil the overall look of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling it. In addition, it accommodates projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to a smart bullpup layout, the ONE model achieves exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. A rubberised cheek piece, which can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail rail running along the entire main block of the air rifle, ensures proper cheek weld. The same applies to the adjustable raised Picatinny rail inclined by up to 30 MOA, which makes it easier to zero the scope for shooting at extreme distances.
Instead of an adjustable aluminium buttpad, the Walnut series boasts a walnut wood stock manufactured by the renowned Czech company KLINSKY, finished down to the smallest detail. The selected wood has a unique grain pattern, making each air rifle a one‑of‑a‑kind piece. If you already own the standard EPIC ONE version, you can also purchase the wooden stock separately here.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with several M‑LOK slots on the sides – or the Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
Two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel can be used to mount additional accessories.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned down to the smallest detail. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, first and second stage travel, as well as the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you don’t need to take your eyes off the target when disengaging it. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a given on EPIC air rifles.
