The Epic engineers are now coming with something a little more classic – the ONE Walnut line with an elegantly shaped walnut stock.
Introducing the EPIC ONE – a new icon from the world‑renowned company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from manufacturing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is milled from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve, which ensures maximum power with minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time, it reduces air wastage and thus increases the shot count per fill. The hammer pre‑tension can be adjusted externally via a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied filling pin with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with a standard quick‑coupler. The air rifle features 2 manometers – one indicating the actual pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc for the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc for 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with a non‑choked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The barrel end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows barrel pre‑tension (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrel lengths are additionally equipped with an integrated K‑Baffle type sound moderator, also ending with a 1/2UNF thread.
On the version with a 700mm barrel, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and loading probe).
For the very best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit with a non‑choked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel is also available (6 grooves with a 17.7” twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine with a magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not disrupt the overall appearance of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling the gun. In addition, it can hold projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to the smart bullpup solution, the ONE model has exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. A rubberised cheekpiece, which can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail rail running along the entire main block of the air rifle, ensures correct eye alignment. The raised Picatinny rail with up to 30 MOA incline is also adjustable and makes it easier to set up the scope for shooting at the longest distances.
Instead of an adjustable aluminium buttpad, the Walnut line boasts a walnut wood stock manufactured by the renowned Czech company KLINSKY, finished down to the smallest detail. The selected wood has a unique grain pattern, making each air rifle a one‑of‑a‑kind piece. If you already own the standard EPIC ONE version, you can also purchase the wooden stock separately here.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with multiple M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
Two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel can be used for attaching additional accessories.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned to perfection. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, the travel of the first and second stages, and the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you do not have to take your eyes off the target when disengaging it. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a standard feature on EPIC air rifles.
EPIC ONE Walnut is available in three configuration variants:
NOTE – The EPIC ONE air rifle offers numerous options to adjust both internal and external components and some modifications require extensive knowledge of PCP air rifles. Always follow the user manual – incorrect procedures may result in irreversible damage to the air rifle and loss of warranty.
