This time, the manufacturer of professional optical devices Element Optics has come up with a revolutionary product in the form of a hybrid prismatic riflescope HYPR-7, which is characterized by a fusion of optical and digital technologies.
This HYPR model (Hybrid Precision Riflescope) features a 50mm objective lens and an internal optical prism ensuring perfect image quality just like all conventional riflescopes. However, this is where the digital technology steps in, as the aiming reticle is not physically etched into the glass, but is displayed digitally.

In addition to the reticle, where you can not only choose between multiple designs but can even create your own, the scope displays several important parameters thanks to the integrated inclinometer, barometer, thermometer and hygrometer. This way you always have a complete overview of the current conditions, which the riflescope automatically adjusts itself to in order to achieve maximum accuracy.
If you install a compatible rangefinder, or manually set the target distance and specify the ammunition type used, the ballistic calculator also provides a dot indicating the estimated point of impact on the reticle.
The riflescope is intended to be used in conjunction with the ELEMENT BALLISTICS app for Android and iOS, which serves as an interface between the user and the riflescope via Bluetooth connection.
It is powered by one AAA battery (LR03/KR03/HR03) with a maximum nominal voltage of 1.5V (not included) and can last for up to 70 hours of continuous usage.
The entire housing is made of black anodized aluminium, is waterproof and nitrogen purged which prevents the internal system from fogging up during rapid temperature changes.
The package includes two Picatinny rail mount sizes with adjustable elevation in the range of 160 MOA. The installed lens cap features an ND filter which reduces the light transmittance in bright daylight to preserve the user's vision.
