Mikov Predator Stonewash 241-BH-1/STKP is an automatic switchblade knife. If it looks familiar, you are a truly loyal James Bond fan. James Bond drove it into Dimitrios’ body in the 2006 movie Casino Royale. Hollywood creators once again let themselves be carried away by the knife’s elegant appearance and its very impressive opening.
The knife has a Spear Point blade made of stainless steel Böhler N690, but unlike a typical Spear Point blade it has one false and one plain edge. Thanks to this, the knife is noticeably easier to close and is therefore more suitable for everyday use than for regular self-defence. Thanks to the quality leather sheath with a belt clip you can really carry it at hand every day.
The blade is set in an ergonomically shaped polymer handle. Mikov used matte black ABS plastic for the handle. Thanks to the textured surface, the knife will not easily slip out of your hand.
Blade deployment is controlled by a folding lever at the top of the handle. You just flip it away from the handle and press. The blade then springs out very quickly. The lever continues to serve as a safety. Without pressing it, you cannot close the blade. The blade, folding lever and springs all feature a matte finish.
