New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Effecto SPARK is a modern PCP air rifle of a classic carbine design that relies on a combination of high muzzle energy, adjustable power, ergonomics, and a robust unit with a well-thought-out layout of components.
The basis of the air rifle is an aluminum body with a black anodized surface finish, complemented by a polymer body cover, stock, and other structural elements. Although the air rifle uses a number of plastic parts, the unit feels solid, robust, and free of disturbing play. This also applies to the stock joint, which is also plastic but holds firmly and does not wobble during handling.
The stock folds to the left side by pressing a button. The plastic cheekpiece is height adjustable, while the rubber buttpad is fixed. The ergonomics are further supported by the AR-15 grip with a rubberized texture, which can be replaced if needed with another grip compatible with the AR-15 platform.
The controls are based on a well-known and intuitive arrangement. The manual ambidextrous safety is inspired by the AR-15 platform, and reloading is done using the right-side side lever, which can also be switched to the other side. The trigger offers adjustable pull weight between 500 and 750 grams. The package includes 2 magazines with a capacity of 9 rounds, and a single-shot adapter included can also be used with the weapon.
On the top of the weapon is a metal 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting a scope. Another metal Picatinny rail is located under the barrel for mounting a bipod or other accessories.
The barrel is fully shrouded with an aluminum shroud and at the muzzle has a 1/2 UNF thread prepared for installing a sound moderator. Beneath the barrel is a large power plenum, followed by an externally adjustable pressure regulator and the carbon bottle itself. On the right side of the air rifle, between the plenum and the reservoir, there is a pair of pressure gauges, one showing the pressure in the reservoir and the other the regulator pressure.
A great advantage of the SPARK model is its easy adjustment without any disassembly of parts. The regulator is accessible from the outside and is adjusted simply with an Allen key on the right side of the weapon. The package includes a set of all necessary Allen keys.
The air rifle is filled through a classic hole for a quickfill pin with 1/8 BSP thread, and the cartridge can be filled up to 300 bars.
