Duke Sonic Boom Refill Kit

Duke Sonic Boom Refill Kit is a replacement set for repeated use of the Sonic Boom Kit and Sonic Boom Tripwire Kit systems. It replaces the consumable parts after previous activation, while the internal mechanism of the original system can be used repeatedly.

For standard and Tripwire versions

The Refill Kit is designed for both the Sonic Boom Kit and Sonic Boom Tripwire Kit. The set includes a new plastic container, centre ring and safety pins suitable for both assembly methods.

Sonic Boom does not contain any irritant or pyrotechnic filling. Once reassembled, it uses the same principle as the original system and produces an acoustic effect with a volume of approximately 158 dB.

Activation principle

The system uses one 12g CO2 cartridge. Upon activation, it is pierced and the compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) begins to be released inside the plastic grenade container. Pressure gradually builds up inside until the container reaches a critical level and bursts violently.

It is this rupture of the container that creates the intense acoustic effect. The mechanism therefore uses CO2 pressure without a pyrotechnic filling.

The 12g CO2 cartridge is not included and must be purchased separately.
