Dogtrace aportovací dumbbell obedience 1000 g is one of the basic training aids for teaching retrieving, not only for hunting dogs. It is ideal for training for sport cynology competitions. It meets the conditions of the International FCI Trial Regulations. The weight and dimensions of the dumbbell are linked to the size of the breed and the age of the specific dog. It is always better to start with a lighter retrieve and gradually increase the weight.
This wooden dumbbell is suitable for medium and large breeds. You will always find the exact weight required for a given test in the competition regulations. The length of the connecting grip is 13.5 cm, and the total length is 22.5 cm. The dumbbell has a rounded board on both sides with dimensions of 12.5x12.5x4.5 cm. Thanks to the rounding, the dumbbell can roll a bit after impact. If you are not managing to get your dog interested in the retrieve, try teaching it with hollow aids into which you can hide treats, and then gradually retrain it to the dumbbell.
