Dogtrace 1000 g retrieving dumbbell is one of the basic training aids for teaching the retrieve. Ideal for training for sport cynology competitions. The weight and dimensions of the dumbbell are related to the size of the breed and the age of the specific dog. It is always better to start with a lighter retrieve and gradually increase the weight.
This wooden dumbbell is suitable for medium and large breeds. You will always find the exact weight required for a given trial in the competition regulations. The length of the connecting grip is 10.5 cm, the total length is 32.5 cm. The dumbbell has a block on both sides with dimensions of 8.5x8.5x11 cm. If you are not succeeding in attracting the dog to the retrieve, try teaching it with hollow aids into which you can hide treats, and then gradually retrain it to the dumbbell.
