PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Retrieving dumbbell for tugging Dogtrace 650 g is one of the basic training aids for teaching retrieve. Ideal for training for sportovní kynologie competitions. The weight and dimensions of the dumbbell are related to the size of the breed and the age of the particular dog. It is always better to start with a lighter retrieve and gradually increase the weight.
This wooden dumbbell is suitable for medium breeds. You will always find the exact required weight for a given trial in the competition’s trial regulations. The length of the connecting grip is 10 cm, and the total length is 19.5 cm. The dumbbell has a disc on both sides, thanks to which it can roll after impact. A cord with a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 20 cm is attached to both discs. With its help, you can teach the dog to hold the retrieve firmly. If you are not managing to get the dog interested in the retrieve, try teaching it with hollow aids into which you can hide treats and then gradually retrain it to the dumbbell.
