Dogtrace d-control Professional 1000 is a universal electronic training collar. Dog owners can take advantage of its wide range of functions. It is suitable for medium and large dog breeds. It offers a combination of all commonly used stimuli, i.e. sound, vibration and electricity. In addition, you can also use light signals so you immediately know where your dog is, even in the dark. The signal range from the transmitter to the collar is up to 1 km.

The collar offers 8 different light modes, 4 vibration modes, 2 different acoustic signals (short and long) and 40 different levels of electric impulses. Compared to standard d-control collars, the transmitter has different parameters. It is now resistant to water and impacts. Additionally, with fewer buttons it offers more intuitive operation. It even has individually configurable buttons. As with its predecessor, you can use a single transmitter to send a signal to two different collars.

The collar greatly simplifies training, allowing you not only to teach the dog, but also to eliminate bad habits. An electronic training collar is recommended for extremely temperamental breeds and unmanageable dogs. Thanks to the collar, the dog will obey you under any circumstances. It will no longer be interested in surrounding distractions such as other dogs or game.

Thanks to the collar, the dog will quickly and easily learn heelwork without a lead, to come when called and to interrupt unwanted behaviour. You can even stop it from jumping up at people, taking food from the table, or barking in the flat. The collar will help correct even the smallest mistakes in otherwise perfectly performed tasks. It is therefore suitable not only for unmanageable dogs, but also for dogs competing at shows or for hunting dogs.

However, electric impulses should not be used lightly. They cannot harm the dog physically, but they may cause psychological damage. The dog may start to fear you rather than respect you as its master. Remember that there are no shortcuts to proper training, only properly used training aids. Therefore, follow the manufacturer's instructions provided on the instructional DVD.

The collar has a black plastic slip strap 70 cm long, with the receiver mounted on it. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal and electric impulses via the electrodes. The collar is equipped with electrodes for both short-haired and long-haired breeds. The package also includes a test lamp which allows you to easily check if the collar is working properly. The receiver weighs only 65 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery. The transmitter weighs 125 g and is powered by two AAA batteries. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how often the collar is used.
