Dogtrace d-control 1602 is a set of 2 electronic training collars which, thanks to the strength of the correction impulses, are particularly suitable for medium and large dog breeds. The collar emits an acoustic signal. If the dog does not respond to it, you can also use an electric stimulation impulse, which can be sent at 30 different levels. In open terrain the collar has a range of up to 1.6 km. It is supplied with a plastic transport case.

The collar will greatly facilitate training, allowing you not only to teach the dog, but also to eliminate bad habits. An electronic training collar is recommended for extremely temperamental breeds and unmanageable dogs. With the collar, your dog will obey under any circumstances and will no longer be interested in any surrounding stimuli such as other dogs or game.

Thanks to the collar, the dog will easily and quickly learn to walk at heel without a leash, come when called, and interrupt unwanted behaviour. You can even stop him from jumping up on people, taking food from the table or barking in the flat. The collar will also help correct even the smallest mistakes in otherwise already perfect exercises. It is therefore suitable not only for unmanageable dogs, but also for dogs competing at shows or for hunting dogs.

However, electric impulses should not be used lightly. They cannot physically harm the dog, but they can cause damage on a psychological level. The dog might then start to fear you rather than respect you as its owner. Keep in mind that there are no shortcuts to proper training, only correctly used training tools. The collar is also waterproof, so you do not have to worry if your dog jumps into the water. Handling is very simple. The collar has a black and red adjustable woven strap 75 cm long with the receiver mounted on it. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal and electric impulses via electrodes. The collar is equipped with electrodes for both short-haired and long-haired breeds. The package also includes a test lamp, which you can easily use to check whether the collar is working correctly. The receiver weighs only 56 g and is powered by a single CR2 3V battery.

The collar also has a Booster function. Thanks to this you can react even in critical situations if the dog does not respond to the standard impulse. The Booster sends an impulse 0–5 levels higher. You choose the intensity yourself.

The remote control is also very easy to use. It has 8 buttons, one for switching on and off, one for emitting an acoustic signal, one for sending an impulse, one for the Booster function and others for selecting the level of the electric impulse. With buttons 1 and 2 you can switch between two different dogs. One transmitter therefore controls two different collars. The transmitter weighs 88 g and is powered by two AA batteries. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how often the collar is used.
