Dogtrace d-control 1000 is an electronic training collar which, thanks to the strength of the correction pulses, is particularly suitable for medium and large dog breeds. The collar emits an acoustic signal. If the dog does not respond to it, you can also use an electric stimulation pulse. You can send it in 30 different levels. In open terrain the collar has a range of up to 1 km. It is supplied with a plastic transport case and an external remote control for the transmitter.

The collar will significantly facilitate your dog’s training and at the same time you can not only teach your dog, but also eliminate bad habits. The electronic training collar is recommended for extremely temperamental breeds and unmanageable dogs. Thanks to the collar, your dog will obey you under any circumstances. It will no longer be interested in surrounding stimuli such as other dogs or game.

With the collar, the dog will easily and quickly learn to walk to heel without a lead, come when called, and interrupt unwanted behaviour. You can even teach it not to jump on people, not to take food from the table, or to stop barking in the flat. The collar can correct even the smallest mistakes the dog makes in otherwise perfect tasks. It is therefore suitable not only for unmanageable dogs, but also for dogs competing at shows or for hunting dogs.

However, you should not use electric pulses carelessly. They cannot physically harm the dog, but they could cause psychological damage. The dog might then start to be afraid of you rather than respect you as its master. Remember that there are no shortcuts to proper training, only correctly used aids. The collar is also waterproof, so you do not have to worry if your dog jumps into the water. Handling it is very simple. The collar has a black adjustable plastic strap 70 cm long, on which the receiver is placed. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal and electric pulses via electrodes. The collar is equipped with electrodes for both short-haired and long-haired breeds. The package also includes a test lamp, with which you can easily check whether the collar is working properly. The receiver weighs only 56 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery.

The collar is also equipped with the Booster function. Thanks to it, you can react even in critical situations if the dog does not respond to a normal pulse. Booster sends a pulse that is 0–5 levels higher. The choice of intensity is up to you.

The control is also very simple. The remote has 8 buttons, one of which is for switching on and off, one for emitting an acoustic signal, one for sending a pulse, one for the Booster function and others for selecting the level of the electric pulse. With buttons 1 and 2 you can switch between two different dogs. One remote can therefore be used for two different collars. The remote weighs 88 g and is powered by two AA batteries. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how often the collar is used.
