Collar Dogtrace d-control 640

Dogtrace d-control 640 is an electronic training collar suitable for all dog breeds. The collar emits an acoustic signal and you can use light signalling to locate your dog in the dark. Unlike most collars, the d-control model 640 does not emit electric stimulation impulses but vibrations. In open areas the collar has a range of up to 600 m. It comes supplied with a plastic transport case.

The collar has several different modes: 8 light modes and 5 different types of vibrations. The light modes are not intended for giving commands. Such signalling would be too demanding for the dog. Dogs sensitive to electric impulses or deaf dogs get the opportunity for an additional training aid. Using different types of vibrations you can teach the dog proper commands.

The collar will significantly facilitate training and at the same time you can not only teach the dog, but also unlearn bad habits. It is recommended for basic training only. The manufacturer does not recommend vibrations for correcting undesirable behaviour, as in most cases they are not sufficient. The dog can easily and quickly learn to heel off-leash, come when called and, if your dog is attentive, also interrupt unwanted activities.

The collar is also waterproof, so you do not have to worry if your dog jumps into the water. Handling is very simple. The collar has an adjustable black woven strap 75 cm long, on which the receiver is placed. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal, light and vibrations. The receiver weighs only 55 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery.

The controls are also very simple. There are 8 buttons on the transmitter, one for turning on and off, one for emitting an acoustic signal, one for sending vibrations, one for the light function and others for selecting the level of vibrations and light. With buttons 1 and 2 you can switch between two different dogs. One transmitter can therefore be used for two different collars. The transmitter weighs only 88 g and is powered by two AA batteries. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how frequently the collar is used.
