PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Dogtrace d-control 442 is a set of 2 electronic training collars suitable for all dog breeds. The collar emits an acoustic signal, and to locate the dog in the dark you can use the light signal. Unlike most d-control collars, model 442 does not emit electric stimulation impulses, but vibrations. In open terrain, the collar has a range of up to 250 m.
The collar offers several different modes: 8 light modes and 5 different types of vibrations. The light modes are not intended for giving commands. Such signalling would be too demanding for the dog. Dogs that are sensitive to electric impulses or deaf dogs get the opportunity to use an additional training aid. By using different types of vibrations, you can teach the dog correct commands.
The collar will significantly simplify training and allows you not only to teach the dog, but also to eliminate bad habits. It is recommended for basic training only. The manufacturer does not recommend vibrations for correcting unwanted behaviour, as in most cases they are not sufficient. The dog can easily and quickly learn to heel off-leash, come when called and, if the dog is responsive, even interrupt unwanted activities.
The collar is also waterproof, so you do not have to worry if your dog jumps into the water. Handling is very simple. The collars have an adjustable woven black and red strap 75 cm long, on which the receiver is mounted. It also emits an acoustic signal, light and vibrations. The receiver weighs only 55 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery.
The control is also very simple. The transmitter is equipped with 8 buttons, one for switching on and off, one for the acoustic signal, one for sending vibrations, one for the light function and others for selecting the level of vibrations and light. With buttons A and B you can switch between two different dogs. One transmitter therefore operates two different collars. The transmitter weighs only 64 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how often the collar is used.
