PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Spray collar Dogtrace d-control 300 Aqua is an excellent alternative to classic training collars. It works on a similar principle as the classic d-control collar. When a command is disobeyed it emits a sound signal, if the dog still does not obey, it uses vibrations. If the dog still does not react, you do not send an electric impulse into the dog’s body, but a unpleasant cooling spray is sprayed towards the dog’s muzzle.
The spray collar is significantly more sensitive than its electric version. You do not cause pain to the dog, only an unpleasant feeling. It is therefore suitable for training more sensitive dogs of all breeds. The range between the collar (receiver) and the remote (transmitter) can be up to 300 m under ideal conditions. Even though the collar is gentler than the electric one, do not use it carelessly. It may still cause the dog to develop an aversion to training. Under no circumstances should the remote be entrusted to small children.
The collar uses spray correction in combination with a sound signal. The sound itself produced when the spray is used is a sufficient impulse for the dog to interrupt inappropriate behaviour. You can send spray correction in short or long intervals. For each of these you can also set a different intensity of the correction impulse. For short intervals there are 5 levels, for long intervals 10 different levels. Spray refills are available with citronella and lavender aroma or without aroma. With one filling, the collar can deliver up to 300 spray corrections.
The set consists of a receiver with a blue woven strap weighing only 74 g, a transmitter with a lanyard for hanging around the neck, batteries and a spray cartridge with citronella scent. The transmitter with LCD display weighs 57 g and has only 8 buttons, each of which has an obviously clear function at first glance. With one remote you can train 2 dogs with a spray collar (the second collar is not included in the package).
