Collar Dogtrace d-control 1600

Dogtrace d-control 1600 is an electronic training collar that, thanks to the strength of its correction impulses, is suitable especially for medium and large dog breeds. The collar emits an acoustic signal. If the dog does not react to it, you can also use an electric stimulation impulse. You can send this in 30 different levels. In open terrain, the collar has a range of up to 1.6 km. It is supplied with a plastic transport case.

The collar makes training much easier for you and allows you not only to teach the dog, but also to eliminate bad habits. The electronic training collar is recommended for extremely temperamental breeds and uncontrollable dogs. Thanks to the collar, your dog will obey you under any circumstances. It will no longer be interested in surrounding stimuli such as other dogs or game.

With the collar, the dog can easily and quickly learn heelwork without a lead, to come when called and to interrupt unwanted behaviour. You can even stop it from jumping up on people, taking food from the table or barking in the flat. The collar will even eliminate the smallest mistakes the dog makes in otherwise perfect exercises. It is therefore suitable not only for uncontrollable dogs, but also for dogs competing at shows or for hunting dogs.

However, you should not use electric impulses carelessly. They cannot physically harm the dog, but they can cause psychological damage. The dog might then start to fear you rather than respect you as its owner. Remember that there are no shortcuts to proper training, only correctly used tools. The collar is also waterproof, so you do not need to worry when your dog jumps into water. Handling it is very simple. The collar has a black, adjustable woven strap 75 cm long, on which the receiver is placed. The receiver also emits an acoustic signal and electric impulses using electrodes. The collar is equipped with electrodes for both short-haired and long-haired breeds. The package also includes a neon test lamp with which you can easily check whether the collar is working correctly. The receiver weighs only 56 g and is powered by one CR2 3V battery.

The collar also features a Booster function. Thanks to this, you can react even in critical situations if the dog does not respond to a normal impulse. The Booster sends an impulse that is 0–5 levels higher. The choice of intensity is up to you.

The control is also very simple. The transmitter has 8 buttons, one for switching on and off, one for emitting an acoustic signal, one for sending an impulse, one for the Booster function and others for selecting the electric impulse level. With buttons 1 and 2 you can switch between two different dogs. One transmitter can therefore be used for two different collars. The transmitter weighs 88 g and is powered by two AA batteries. Battery life can reach up to 1 year depending on how frequently the collar is used.
