It has a rubber-armoured aluminium body, which makes it very durable. The binocular lenses are coated with effective MC layers minimising unwanted reflections.
It weighs only 848 g, so you can comfortably take it almost anywhere. Transport is made much easier thanks to the neck strap with caps, or the rigid case with its own strap.
The binocular also has other advantages. At 1000 metres it has a field of view width of 72 metres. The interior of the tubes is filled with nitrogen, so the lenses will not fog up, even with sudden temperature changes. The 50 mm objective diameter provides solid light transmission, allowing you to see even at dusk. Delta Optical Discovery 16x50 also boasts 16x magnification and dioptre adjustment from -4 to +8 dioptres. So you don’t have to worry about not being able to focus on the target because of your eyesight.
