Daisy Powerline Model 35 is another of the American Daisy air rifles that offer a very good price/performance ratio. And it is no different with the Model 35. Its shape resembles a classic Winchester-style rifle in a camo colour scheme.
The stock and fore-end of the air rifle are made of durable polymer. You don’t need to worry about the rifle slipping from your hands. The fore-end and pistol grip of the stock have a textured surface, so it is very comfortable to hold. This rifle has a major advantage in that it can use two types of ammunition: steel BBs and pellets in calibre 4.5 mm. On the left side you will find the cover of the magazine, which holds up to 50 steel BBs. If you intend to shoot pellets, you have to load them into the chamber one by one.
The shooting procedure is very simple. Just cock the bolt lever, engage the safety, pump with the fore-end, insert a pellet into the chamber and close the chamber. Then you simply aim, disengage the safety and fire. For more accurate shooting you can use the height-adjustable rear sight or the 11 mm mounting rail for fitting a riflescope. Shooting with the Model 35 can also be quite dangerous. After ten pumps the rifle fires a pellet with an energy of 10 J.
Even though the manufacturer states that children from 16 years of age can shoot this gun, there should always be an adult present when shooting. The adult must not only supervise safety but also pump the rifle for weaker children. Safety is further ensured by a manual safety in the trigger guard area, which is easily accessible with the index finger of the right hand.
