It also comes with a stringing aid and a bowstring. The stringing aid is used to stretch the limbs for comfortable fitting of the bowstring.
The 35 lb draw weight is not a reliable indicator of crossbow performance, as other factors influence it: arrow weight, bowstring weight, type of draw of a particular crossbow model, etc.
The limb, depending on arrow weight and number of times the string has been twisted, increases the crossbow's power by 7.4 lbs (7-10 J).
