Creamy risotto with asparagus and broccoli Adventure Menu Lightweight

Adventure Menu Lightweight is a product line of freeze-dried meals made from 100% natural ingredients from the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. With the Lightweight range you can save up to 80% of weight and 30% of energy. For these products you only need to add water up to the fill line inside the pouch and wait until they are rehydrated again. Then you simply heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system and you have a meal on the go just like at home (and often even better).

Creamy risotto with asparagus and broccoli is a very filling and not only vegan meal that will replenish your energy and also warm you up on your trips. The dish consists mainly of Arborio rice cooked in vegetable stock with fresh asparagus and broccoli – all deglazed with white wine. And finally, the highlight – vegan parmesan. There is nothing better than having a proper main course on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day trip in the wild, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and has taken české MRE (meal ready to eat) to the next level.

The risotto contains 40% Arborio rice, 12% asparagus, 12% broccoli, vegetable stock, red pepper, shallot, white wine, cashew nuts, olive oil, nutritional yeast (dried yeast, malt extract), garlic, salt and pepper. In total, it contains 3.1% fat, 0.6% saturated fat, 2.9% protein, 17% carbohydrates, 0.8% sugar and 1.5% salt. Altogether it provides 432 kcal (1,800 kJ).

The pack measures 21 x 18 x 5 cm and weighs only 139 g. Inside you will find 124 g of food. After adding water, you get one full meal portion. The total weight of the prepared meal will then be 400 g.
