Built into it is a glass sighting louvre. It is an indispensable helper for outdoor expeditions. It will always help you reliably determine cardinal points and set a course. The dial is immersed in liquid, which ensures almost instantaneous steadying of the arrow and prevents bubbles from forming. The circle is divided into 360°. The sighted target can be read directly on the scale in parallel, or by a dioptric transducer with lens.
On the sides of the compass are centimeter and inch scales. A built-in level gauge is also a practical addition. At the bottom of the compass is a table for recalculating angles, deviations and distances. The compass can be conveniently hung on a cord around the neck or worn in a belt pouch, both included.
