Historical original
The Colt Single Action Army was introduced in 1873 and was used by the American army as a service revolver. Historical examples were manufactured with 4.75, 5.5 and 7.5-inch barrels; a twelve-inch Buntline Special version also existed. The original was offered in several calibres, with .45 Colt being among the best known.
