This shape is widely used in the martial art Pencak Silat, which is widespread throughout most of Southeast Asia. During combat, the little finger is slipped through the hole at the end of the handle and the knife pivots around it. However, Steel Tiger also proves useful in everyday work tasks, just as its inspiration, the karambit, has done.
The blade is deeply curved and ends in a sharp tip. It is made from durable AUS 8A steel, which has undergone a Stone Wash Finish surface treatment. This steel is very strong, holds an edge well, and is not particularly demanding in terms of maintenance.
The grip is provided by scales made from Kray-Ex™ (Kraton G), featuring an ergonomic shape and a practical belt clip.
