Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice Adventure Menu Lightweight

For these products you only need to add water up to the fill line inside the pouch and wait until they are rehydrated again. Then you just heat them up in a pot or in a self‑heating system and you have a travel meal that tastes like home (and often even better).

Chicken Tikka Masala with basmati rice is a traditional Indian speciality with a mildly spicy creamy sauce. It is a very tasty and filling meal that will warm you up and replenish the nutrients you need on the go. There is nothing better than having a full‑value main course on a mountain ridge or on a multi‑day trip in nature, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and added another item to the Czech MRE (Meal, Ready‑to‑Eat) range.

The dish contains 30% chicken breast, 20% chopped tomatoes, 16% basmati rice, 16% cream, 10% yogurt, onion, garlic, butter, olive oil, salt, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, chilli, ground coriander, cane sugar and fresh coriander. In total you get 13% fat, 7.5% saturated fat, 13% protein, 6.4% carbohydrates, 2.8% sugars and 1.1% salt. Altogether it provides 760 kcal (3,176 kJ).

The pack measures 21 x 18 x 5 cm and weighs only 135 g. Inside you will find 120 g of food. After adding water you get one full‑size portion. The total weight of the prepared meal will then be 400 g. This pack has a shelf life of up to 5 years.
