It is made of 100% polyester, which, together with the taped seams, ensures its water resistance. The material has been tested to a water column of 2000 mm. This may not protect you from a major hurricane, but for our conditions the tarp should easily withstand normal rain and a light storm without a single drop getting through.
You can tension and attach the tarp using the metal eyelets along its edges. In no time you can easily set up a makeshift shelter or windbreak to hide from unexpected rain. The tarp is packed in a textile drawstring bag measuring 22 x 14 x 6 cm and weighs 460 g.
