The Bushnell brand has been one of the leading optics manufacturers in the USA for more than 65 years, with the constant aim of offering reliable yet affordable optics. The NITRO riflescope series offers attractively priced models that take into account the needs of European shooters.
The Bushnell 1-6x24 Nitro riflescope is ideal for dynamic shooting at short distances. Its robust body with a 30mm tube meets the IPX7 protection rating and at the same time does not exceed a weight of 552 grams. Inside is an optical system whose ED Prime lenses are treated with the Bushnell EXO-BarrierTM coating, which allows for maximum light transmission of up to 92 %, so the riflescope easily copes with low-light conditions at dusk or dawn.
The 4A reticle is located in the second focal plane, with only the central dot illuminated, adjustable in 6 levels. Power is supplied by a single CR2032 battery.
The riflescope has a fixed parallax set to 100 yd, i.e. approx. 91.4 m. The range of windage and elevation adjustment is 90 MOA. One click corresponds to 1/4 MOA, i.e. a shift of the point of impact by 1 cm at a distance of 100 yd (91.4 m).
The windage and elevation turrets are capped, so the cover needs to be unscrewed before adjustment. Each movement of the turret is accompanied by a distinct click. An advantage is the fast zero reset function for the elevation setting.
The variable magnification adjustment of 1-6x is located on the objective in the form of a rotating ring with a support fin for the finger.
