But this is definitely not where the BM8 model ends – it was actually created for survival purposes in a hostile environment. It starts with the use of the classic break‑barrel loading system, just like we know from old Slavia rifles. Instead of a traditional spring, however, it features an advanced gas RAM piston, which guarantees high power while also reducing vibration and recoil when firing.
The air rifle therefore does not require any additional accessories such as expensive PCP compressors or a stock of disposable CO2 cartridges. Likewise, the manufacturer avoided using a magazine system as we know it, for example, from modern Gamo air rifles, in order to ensure maximum reliability. Last but not least, the air rifle is almost entirely covered with a durable polymer, again with regard to easy maintenance and better protection of key components. The strong focus on survival use is clearly visible.
In the basic configuration the rifle is fitted with fixed sights mounted on the barrel. For installing a riflescope there is a standard 22 mm Weaver / Picatinny rail, and if you want to upgrade the air rifle with a laser, flashlight or bipod, there are another two removable rails located on the sides of the forearm.
The BM8 model consists of 3 moving parts – the classic break‑barrel, the main block and the folding stock. After loosening one rotary safety at the barrel and the second push‑button safety above the stock, both parts are released and can then be folded into a triangular shape. The rail that originally serves to compress the piston when you break the barrel now functions as a safety in the folded state, where it locks into a slot hidden in the stock.
The package also includes a practical waterproof case for small accessories or ammunition, which fits perfectly into the folded air rifle, and a cap protecting the muzzle and chamber from dirt.
We always like to see manufacturers of air rifles trying to come up with something new, original and innovative. And the BM8 air rifle is exactly such a case. The folding mechanism is cleverly designed, there is no rattling or wobbling anywhere, and the air rifle as a whole feels robust. In short, it is a fully fledged (and powerful) break‑barrel with a few extra upgrades.

The BM8 should be part of every survivalist's gear! It's well-made and
suitable for small game hunting. I have measured more than 30J with 1 gram
pellets! The folding mechanism makes it unique and EDC-compatible, fitting into
a backpack. The reliability seems infinite to me. This version lacks the 1/2 UNF
thread, but that doesn't bother me, as the BM8 isn't as loud. Accuracy is good,
especially with the classic sights on it. As for the Picatinny rail, I've
applied thread lock to all four screws! The BM8 is a must have !
