The outer shell of the backpack is made of Nylon Robic, material whose fibres are very strong and are difficult to tear or break. It is already a standard for Pinguin products to use high-quality Japanese YKK zippers, which are reliable and durable. All Nifco buckles are made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), which is durable, rigid yet flexible thermoplastic polymer.
The single top-entry chamber offers more than meets the eye. It features a mesh pocket with a zipper and a carabiner, a divider to hold a potential water reservoir, and a removable HDPE plate with duralumin reinforcement in the back for better weight distribution.
The E3D system offers perfect ventilation of the back area and for even better comfort and security when being worn, the pack is equipped with a removable lumbar belt and a chest strap. The padded shoulder straps are additionally reinforced in the upper area.
On the sides of the backpack there are compression straps, which allow you to reduce the size of the backpack if you carry only a few things. Both sides also feature mesh pockets for bottles and loops for attaching trekking poles.
