The air pistol ASG 1911 US-C is based on the design of the Colt 1911 pistol created by John Browning. Apart from the grip panels, its construction is entirely made of metal, which further increases its realism.
The trigger mechanism, just like on the original, is equipped with two safeties – the classic thumb safety and a grip safety. Firing is in semi-automatic mode – semi-auto, so the pistol only needs to be cocked before the first shot. The Blow Back system ensures that each pull of the trigger causes the slide to move back, cocking the hammer. During the subsequent forward movement of the slide, the BB is chambered.
The internal mechanism is powered by one 12 g CO2 cartridge, which is located directly in the magazine, where you will also find a channel for 18 steel BBs in 4.5 mm calibre.
To achieve maximum accuracy, the pistol is fitted with fixed sights – a front sight and a rear sight.
