The ASG 1911 US-C steel BB airgun is inspired by the Colt 1911 pistol designed by John Browning. Apart from the grip scales, it's completely made of metal, which only increases the reallistic feeling.
The trigger mechanism, just like the original, is equipped with two safeties - a classic one and a palm safety. It features a semi-automatic firing mode, so the pistol only needs to be cocked once before the first shot is fired. The blowback system allows each pull of the trigger to cause the slide to be pushed backwards, thereby re-cocking the hammer. During the movement of the slide forward, the steel BBs are inserted into the chamber.
It's powered by a single 12g CO2 cartridge, which is housed directly in the magazine with a capacity of 18 steel BBs of a 4.5mm caliber.
The pistol is also equipped with classic fixed sights.
