The headlamp Armytek Wizard C2 WUV is equipped with a highly transmissive TIR lens providing a 120° light cone, two white LEDs delivering a light output of 1100 lumens and a beam distance of 98 metres, and two ultraviolet diodes with an output of 1.6 Watts in the 400 nm spectrum. Both light types offer 5 brightness levels.
Ultraviolet light is currently used, for example, for verifying banknotes and documents with security features, detecting leaks of industrial fluids from machines and other equipment, or for searching for hidden minerals in the ground such as amber, zircon and others.
Thanks to the metal clip it can be easily detached and used as a classic torch, and with the help of the magnetic tailcap you can attach it to metal surfaces.
The torch is powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery, with which it can run for 2h30min in the highest mode (3h in the highest UV mode) and up to 65 days in the lowest mode (9 days in the lowest UV mode). With the help of the magnetic charger, the torch charges in just 3h20min.
The compact body is made of aerospace-grade aluminium with hard type III anodizing, provides protection rating IP68 and can be submerged to a depth of 10 metres and dropped from a height of 10 metres. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +40°C.
