The Armytek Wizard C2 WUV headlamp features a high transmission TIR lens providing 120° light cone, two white LEDs providing an output of 1100 lumens and a range of 98 meters and two ultraviolet LEDs providing 1.6 watts of power in the spectrum 400 nm. Both light types offer 5 levels of brightness.
Nowadays, ultraviolet light is used, for example, to verify banknotes and documents bearing security elements, to detect industrial fluid leaks from machines and other equipment, or to search for hidden minerals in the soil such as amber, zircon and more.
Thanks to the metal clip, it can be easily detached and used as a conventional flashlight, and with the help of the magnetic end cap you can attach it to metal surfaces.
The flashlight is powered by one 18650 Li-ion battery, with which it can operate for 2h30min in the highest mode (3h in the highest UV mode) and up to 65 days in the lowest mode (9 days in the lowest UV mode). Using the magnetic charger, the flashlight can be charged in just 3h20min.
The compact housing is made of Type III hard-anodized aerospace aluminium, offers an IP68 rating and can be submerged to a depth of 10m and dropped from a height of 10m. The working temperature ranges from -25°C to +40°C.
