The construction of each cap consists of a rubber tube and a polymer flip-up cover. To open the cap there are two lugs on the cover; you need to press one of them, which releases the cover upwards.
The eyepiece cap is suitable for diameters of 37–42 mm and the objective cap for diameters of 46–54 mm.
