To prevent even the slightest of motions of the riflescope during firing, none of Arken Optics' mounts feature the protective internal synthetic tape.
The mounts are secured to the 22mm Weaver/Picatinny rail with 2 torx screws on each ring, and the riflescope itself is fixed in place with 4 torx screws on each ring.
