The Czech company Altaros has been the world's leading manufacturer of regulators and accessories for PCP rifles since 2008.
The founder and current director of Altaros Air Solutions Ing. Ondřej Plachý started developing the first regulator while studying at the Technical University in Liberec in 2006. By 2008, several hundred satisfied shooters were already using the regulator in their rifles. And when he finished his studies in 2011, he started producing accessories for PCP guns on a full-time basis.
Today, Altaros offers a wide range of accessories for most well-known brands of airguns. With the benefit of their extensive service experience, they are able to offer very expert advice and solutions for every shooter.
The company has now crossed an important milestone and has embarked on the development of their own air guns. As a result, the semi-automatic Altaros SA Assassin has been introduced, which uses only the waste air from the barrel to reload and is the first in the world to operate at low energies of 7.5 J and 16 J. This was unthinkable with semi-automatics until recently, and even much more well-known brands have failed to do so.
The second Altaros M24 is based on the US Army's M24 sniper rifle. It is still under development, but already in testing it has managed to achieve a 1 MOA at 200 meters and hit the target even at 550 meters. These impressive performances simply speak for themselves.
