New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Effecto SPARK is a modern PCP air rifle of classic carbine design, which relies on a combination of high muzzle energy, adjustable power, ergonomics, and a robust build with a well‑thought‑out layout of components.
The foundation of the air rifle is a aluminium receiver with a black anodised finish, complemented by a polymer receiver cover, stock, and other structural parts. Although a greater number of plastic components are used on the rifle, the overall impression is solid and robust, without any disturbing play. This also applies to the folding stock joint, which is also plastic, but remains secure during handling and does not wobble.
Folding stock folds to the left side after pressing a button. The plastic cheekpiece is height‑adjustable, while the rubber butt pad is fixed. Ergonomics are further enhanced by an AR-15 grip with a rubberised texture, which can be replaced with another compatible AR-15 platform grip if needed.
The controls are based on a well‑known and intuitive layout. The manual ambidextrous safety is inspired by the AR-15 platform, and cocking is done using the right‑side side lever, which can also be swapped to the other side. The trigger offers pull‑weight adjustment in the range of 500 to 750 grams. The package includes 2 magazines with a capacity of 10 shots, and the rifle can also be used with the supplied single‑shot adapter.
On the top of the rifle there is a metal 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting a scope. Another metal Picatinny rail is located under the barrel and serves for mounting a bipod or other accessories.
The barrel is fully shrouded with an aluminium shroud, and the muzzle is equipped with a 1/2 UNF thread for installing a sound moderator. Under the barrel there is a large power plenum, followed by an externally adjustable pressure regulator and then the carbon fibre bottle itself. On the right side of the rifle, between the plenum and the cylinder, there is a pair of manometers, one showing the pressure in the cylinder and the other the regulator pressure.
A major advantage of the SPARK model is its easy adjustment without any disassembly of parts. The regulator is accessible from the outside and is adjusted simply with an Allen key on the right side of the rifle. The package includes a set of all necessary Allen keys.
Filling the air rifle is done via a standard port for a quickfill pin with 1/8 BSP thread, and the cylinder can be filled up to 300 bar.
