New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Effecto SPARK is a modern PCP air rifle of classic carbine design that relies on a combination of high muzzle energy, adjustable power, ergonomics and a robust build with a well thought-out layout of components.
The air rifle is based on an aluminium chassis with a black anodised finish, complemented by a polymer receiver cover, stock and other construction elements. Although a larger number of polymer parts are used on the rifle, the whole unit feels solid and robust without any disturbing play. This also applies to the folding stock joint, which is likewise made of polymer, but remains firm and wobble-free in handling.
Folding stock folds to the left side after pressing the button. The polymer cheekpiece is height-adjustable, while the rubber butt pad is fixed. Ergonomics are further enhanced by an AR-15 grip with a rubberised texture, which can be replaced with any other compatible AR-15 platform grip if required.
The controls are based on a well-known and intuitive layout. The manual ambidextrous safety is inspired by the AR-15 platform and cocking is carried out using a right-side side lever, which can also be swapped to the other side. The trigger offers pull weight adjustment from 500 to 750 grams. The package includes 2 magazines with a capacity of 10 shots, and the rifle can also be used with the supplied single-shot tray.
On the top of the rifle there is a metal 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting a riflescope. Another metal Picatinny rail is located under the barrel and serves for mounting a bipod or other accessories.
The barrel is fully shrouded with an aluminium shroud, and the muzzle is equipped with a 1/2 UNF thread for installing a sound moderator. Under the barrel there is a large power plenum, followed by an externally adjustable pressure regulator and then the aluminium bottle itself. On the right side of the rifle, between the plenum and the bottle, there is a pair of pressure gauges, one showing the pressure in the bottle and the other the regulator pressure.
A major advantage of the SPARK model is the easy adjustment without any disassembly of parts. The regulator is accessible from the outside and is adjusted simply with a hex key on the right side of the rifle. The package includes a set of all necessary hex keys.
Filling the rifle is done through a standard port for a quickfill pin with 1/8 BSP thread and the aluminium bottle can be filled up to 200 bar.
