The ammunition used is 4.5 mm lead diabolo pellets, which are inserted into the rear part of the shell. The shell is then inserted into the chamber in the revolver cylinder.
The Legends S40 is powered by a standard 12 g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted into the compartment in the grip. The Double Action trigger mechanism is standard for a revolver of this type.
The revolver is standardly equipped with a height- and windage-adjustable rear sight, but thanks to the pair of 22 mm mounting rails you can easily fit the gun with a red dot sight. The second rail is used for mounting a flashlight or laser.
