Umarex TXP Air Pistol
Umarex TXP is an air pistol for recreational shooting with 4,5 mm steel BBs. It is powered by a CO2 cartridge, with a muzzle velocity of up to 130 m/s and an energy of up to 3 J.
Construction and Grip
The pistol features an internal metal alloy frame housed in a black polymer body. The contoured grip with pronounced texturing helps prevent the hand from slipping and maintain a stable hold when pulling the trigger. A 22 mm Picatinny rail beneath the barrel allows compatible accessories to be mounted.
CO2 Power and Magazine
The internal system is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted into the grip through the backstrap and secured with a screw at the bottom. A separate metal magazine holding 15 steel BBs is located in the front of the grip.
DAO Trigger and Trigger Blade Safety
The DAO trigger mechanism operates exclusively in double-action mode : pulling the trigger cocks and then releases the hammer - which cannot be manually cocked beforehand.
The automatic trigger blade safety is disengaged by correctly pressing its centre, effectively reducing the risk of an accidental discharge during handling.
Barrel, Sights and Muzzle Thread
The pistol has a 100 mm smoothbore metal barrel and fixed iron sights consisting of a front and rear sight. Beneath the screw-on muzzle cap is an M14x1 LH left-hand thread for compatible muzzle accessories, such as a dummy suppressor.
