PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

England is considered the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, from which the era of industrial modernity was launched. It was in Great Britain that firearms companies were founded. Air Arms is a company well known to the general public and has now come out with a bullpup-type rifle. Galahad is a compact PCP air rifle.

The stock of the rifle, finished with a rubber buttpad, can be chosen according to your preference, as it is produced in three variants: beech, walnut and black beech. The overall length of this rifle is only 80 cm. The manufacturer has used a barrel from the German company Lothar Walther with a length of 395 mm. The air rifle is extremely quiet thanks to the shroud surrounding the barrel. The shroud is finished with a thread suitable for attaching an external moderator.

The rifle includes a pressure regulator, which is also marked on the side of the rifle with the letters SR. The advantages of the regulator are a higher shot count and constant muzzle velocity. The maximum filling pressure is 200 bar. Once filled, the air in the cylinder is enough for 110 shots. The air cylinder can be filled using a quickfill adapter. The filling port is hidden under a cap behind the manometer, a similar system to the one used by Kalibrgun.

The rifle has ten-shot magazines, just like the AA S510/S410 rifles. If you are a fan of shooting with bipods, you will certainly appreciate the UIT rail in the fore-end. A densely checkered grip provides a secure hold. Every shooter will also appreciate the integrated spirit level hidden in the rail. The rail for mounting a riflescope itself has a size of 11 mm.

The reloading system of this rifle is also excellent. It is comfortable and simple, so anyone can reload quickly without the slightest hesitation. The air rifle is cocked from the front section. The manufacturer has used a rotary lever that only needs to be pushed downwards, which rotates the magazine, cocks the hammer spring and inserts the pellet into the barrel. A similar solution can be found on models from Walther and Feinwerkbau.

Practical experience: The rifle handles well thanks to the well-shaped stock. It is a shorter model and therefore suitable for carrying. Credit must go to the engineer who designed the reloading system, as it is fast and smooth. The stock is perfectly finished with a sturdy, well-adjustable rubber buttpad. A major advantage for many shooters may be the use of the same magazine as in the S510/410 models.
