In combination with a riflescope, it creates an optic that uses the magnification of your scope. Thanks to the bayonet mount you can quickly attach it to the riflescope and you do not need to re-zero your firearm. We recommend using a quality scope with parallax adjustment to achieve the best image quality. Mechanical resistance is rated up to .308 Win. It is also suitable for air rifles.
Valiant Nox was primarily designed for night use in black-and-white mode. Nevertheless, it also has a colour daytime mode. However, keep in mind that this model was never intended as a daytime spotter, and some colours in daytime mode may not correspond to reality.
The detection range at night is up to 200 metres. You can use a 1–4x digital zoom. The powerful 850nm IR illuminator can also be adjusted using zoom. Game does not react to this illumination.
The clip-on is equipped with a display with a resolution of 640x640 px. As a power source it uses an Li-Ion 18650 battery (not included), which lasts up to 8 hours of operation without the illuminator and approximately 4.5 hours with the illuminator. The Valiant clip-on also features a micro HDMI output.
The Valiant Nox NV1 clip-on can record Full HD video and take photos. Both can be recorded to a Micro-SD card.
The password for Wi-Fi connection is 12345678 (network name NVowl). You can then play back the recordings via the Ricam app (free to download on Google Play and the App Store).
In the device menu and in the manual you will find the option to record audio (Record Audio). However, the device does not record sound!
Always charge the 18650 battery only with an external charger (from our offer this is the product MC1KT, see the Recommended accessories section). Charging the battery via the device can cause problems in the internal parts of the unit (Valiant Nox NV1 does not have a built-in external battery charge level indicator).
The supplied 18650 battery has only a basic capacity, and if you want to increase the operating time of the device, we recommend purchasing one of the compatible batteries listed below in the Recommended accessories section.

Convenient mounting on Valiant optics. There was a question advertised here a
few days ago about – what is included. To the seller's detriment, the
„Seller's Answer“ was inadequate for the buyer – i.e. it was stated
approximately „…in the product text“. So set the record straight: the
package includes – NOX NV1 primer, plus an extended battery cover designed
for batteries with control electronics (they are a few mm longer than the
standard 18650), rubber eyepiece of approx. 6cm length (bayonet fitting),USB
connection cable, bayonet adapter for the eyepiece of the rifle scope, Czech
instructions, and the most important thing – EXTRACTING RINGS made of ABS
material (they are half-size, 7 pairs in total, which is positive). Otherwise
the controls are intuitive, everything works as it should. The sharpening of the
principle flexible, IR LED Brightnes 3 levels, LCD brigh 5 levels, record
video 1920×1080 30P and 1280×720 60P, exposure adjustment for photo in a wide
range, etc. Too bad it is not listed pass to WiFi for sharing on another device
!! Worth mentioning is also the possibility of focusing and defocusing the IR
beam in relation to the quality of the image in relation to the distance of the
object under observation. In my own words – thumbs up for me !
