This pistol named PP750L from the Chinese manufacturer of affordable airguns Snowpeak / SPA is the direct successor of the original PP750 version. The designers took into account customer feedback and requirements and based on them created an even more refined air pistol, which has, however, retained all the advantages of the original model.
The main change concerns the 277mm rifled barrel, which is now finished with an external 1/2 UNF thread for installing a sound moderator – which is included in the package. The pistol is designed for standard lead pellets that you can insert into the pre‑tensioned magazine, or you can use the supplied single‑shot adapter. A simple lever on the right side is used for cocking.
On the barrel there are simple sights with a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight. For mounting a red dot sight or scope there is an 11mm rail, whose front part is movable along the entire length of the barrel. The manual safety is located directly in the trigger, which has an adjustable pull weight.
The pistol is equipped with a built-in pressure regulator, which ensures a constant muzzle velocity from full pressure down to the regulator’s minimum working pressure. At the same time, it was possible to increase the muzzle energy. The 66cc air cylinder remains the same and can be filled up to 250 bar using the supplied quick‑coupler fill probe. A manometer at the front informs you about the current pressure in the cylinder.
A very welcome change is definitely the telescopic stock, which can not only be completely removed, but now also offers height adjustment of the guide rods, making it easier to aim with the original open sights or a compact red dot. Another new feature is the non-slip rubber buttpad, which is also height adjustable. And just like on the original, there are simple but comfortable wooden grip panels on the handle.
