Water filter Sawyer SP128 Mini pink

Sawyer SP128 Mini is a practical and lightweight travel filter in a pink design. It is a very simple filtration system with an enormous service life. The manufacturer guarantees filtration of up to 100,000 gallons of water. Converted to the metric system, that is over 378,000 litres.

The package of this water filter includes a rubber tube for drawing water from a stream, a plastic water pouch and a syringe for cleaning the filter. The filter itself weighs only 65 g, so you can always have it at hand. The filter has a covered mouthpiece on one side, from which you can drink or fill water bottles. On the other side of the filter there is an inlet opening where you can attach either the rubber tube, the supplied bottle, or any PET bottle with water.

Then you simply drink the water. There is nothing complicated hidden in the filter. The PointONE Technology used by the Sawyer water filter has an absolute pore size of 0.1 micron. Thanks to this, it removes 99.99999% of all harmful bacteria such as salmonella, cholera and E. coli. We recommend filtering only water without solid particles such as sand or mud. Otherwise the filter would clog unnecessarily and you would have to clean it more often.

Its only potential weakness is its sensitivity to frost. If the filter is wet and freezes, it may crack or otherwise be damaged. In that case we do not recommend using it any further.
