New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The Tauron 5-30x56 FFP MPX1 MRAD riflescope from the trusted manufacturer Vector Optics features an unrivalled optical system with a 56mm objective lens and an FMC coating ensuring high light transmission and a clear image, allowing the riflescope to be used even in low-light conditions.
This model uses an etched MPX1 reticle positioned in the first focal plane (the reticle increases in size as magnification increases), complemented by red illumination with 6 selectable levels of brightness.
The adjustment turrets feature Zero-reset and Turret Lock functions, and elevation and windage can be adjusted within a range of 17,5/16 MRAD. On the left side of the riflescope is a parallax adjustment turret with a range from 20 yards to infinity, combined with the turret for selecting the reticle illumination level. Power is supplied by a battery CR2032 (not included).
The turrets turn smoothly without any sticking and provide quiet clicks. Riflescope adjustments are specified in milliradians MRAD (also referred to as MIL), and 1 click equals 1/10 MRAD.
The durable riflescope body with an IP67 rating is made from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and is filled with nitrogen, which prevents the lenses from fogging when the temperature changes. The tube, forged from a single piece, has a diameter of 30mm.
This model can withstand 1000 g (a unit of gravitational acceleration), equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .300, .308 and .338 calibres.

In this price range you’ll have a hard time finding optics as good as this.
It’s still not quite at the level of the Continental series from the same
brand with the same specs, but at this price there’s nothing to argue about.
