The Tauron 1-6X24 GenII FFP VTA-9 MIL MRAD rifle scope from trusted manufacturer Vector Optics features an unrivalled optical system with a 24mm objective lens and an FMC coating that ensures high light transmission and a clear image, allowing the scope to be used even in low-light conditions.
This model uses an etched VTA-9 MIL reticle positioned in the first focal plane (the reticle increases in size as magnification increases), complemented by red illumination with 6 selectable levels of brightness.
The elevation adjustment turret features a Zero-reset function, and both elevation and windage can be adjusted over a range of 60 MRAD. A turret for selecting the reticle illumination level is located on the left side of the scope. Power is supplied by a battery CR2032 (not included). Parallax adjustment is fixed at 100 yards.
The turrets turn smoothly without any sticking, accompanied by quiet clicks. Scope adjustment is specified in milliradians MRAD (also referred to as MIL), and 1 click equals 0,1 MRAD.
The durable scope body with an IP67 protection rating is made from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and filled with nitrogen, which prevents the lenses from fogging when the temperature changes. The one-piece forged tube has a diameter of 30mm.
This model can withstand 750 g (a unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .223 and .308 calibres.
