High energy
Option for further customisation
Good price for the basic gun
With the first few shots from a 12 g cartridge, it delivers significantly more than 35 J
Even the last shot in the magazine stayed above 35 J (requires heavy BBs)

Accessories are often overpriced
It's quite big and quite heavy

Stopping power (Stopping Power) : The .68 calibre combined with this much power delivers an extremely forceful impact. With steel/rubber balls or pepper balls, the deterrent and incapacitating effect is maximal. The "Emergency" system : The quick-piercing CO₂ cartridge system lets you store the weapon loaded without the seals wearing out under pressure. In an emergency, simply strike the bottom of the grip and the weapon is instantly ready to use. The detachable magazine : Unlike other models with a fixed cylinder or an internal tubular magazine, the IntruBuster Gen 2 uses a proper detachable magazine. This allows much faster reloading under stress if you have a second magazine. Value for money : For a launcher that delivers this much power without modification (tuning), the price remains very competitive compared with modified setups from other brands.

CO₂ consumption: Delivering 35 Joules or more with a small 12-gram CO₂ cartridge takes a huge amount of energy. The shot count is therefore very low: you’ll get maximum power from the first magazine (6 to 7 shots), but the power will drop quickly after that. You need to change the cartridge after each use. Recoil and noise: It makes a loud bang and has much stronger recoil than 11-Joule pistols. It takes a bit of practice to fire consecutive shots accurately. Bulky size: The gun is big and heavy. It’s not made to be carried discreetly on you, but really to be kept at home.

Great for self-defence, but it’s a trade-off. After all, .68 calibre requires a robust piece of hardware.

Strong, heavy, huge

Quite robust, I’m still looking for a suitable case

A really, really good item, with impressive quality. I was amazed by its J. As soon as you receive the points, I’ll order another one just like it.

A good tool to have at home; it has enough power to make them think twice about carrying on. It delivers more power as standard than they claim. I only see one drawback, and it can be fixed: when you fit a torch to the pistol, not all of them sit properly, but it can be solved by modifying the rail. I recommend it 100%.

Very good power
It shoots with more joules than stated
solid in the hand

Not all pistol flashlights fit properly
Sometimes a round can slip out of the magazine

Very powerful launcher, you don’t need more than that for home defense. Sits very well in the hand, very accurate and with a buttery smooth trigger

A bit bigger than I thought, which makes it less realistic for someone used to handling firearms.
It has good power and is quite loud, 8 shots per cartridge.
In the coming days I’ll check accuracy at 10 and 25 metres on the shooting range and muzzle velocities with the different types of ammo.
Although the magazine only holds 6 balls, you can leave one ball directly in the chamber so the pistol can hold 7 balls in total.
Having done the tests with different ammo I can see a clear superiority in power with the heavier balls: in the 7 shots the pistol allows with one magazine and without reloading, the 8 g balls give an average of 40 J and the 10 g ones 46 J; the eighth shot provided by the 12 g cartridge drops below 25 J in both cases.
As for accuracy: up to 10 m good–high, at 25 m non‑existent.

A very powerful weapon with the option to buy lots of accessories

I’ve got it and I can only recommend it, for self-defence or just messing around in the garden. It’s incredibly powerful – with RBI rounds at 7 metres it had no problem shooting through a 2 cm OSB board, and it also makes a pretty decent racket.
Powerful, possibility to increase the power up to about 160 joules, many tuning options
Already over 50 J straight out of the box without any modifications
