At first glance, it impresses with a timeless construction based on the tactical AR-15 rifle design. The possibility of swapping compatible AR-15 parts (stock, pistol grip) gives us huge potential for individual customization.
As the very first crossbow, it boasts the pneumatic PowerUnit technology, which uses a Paintball HPA bottle for its operation (pressure bottle not included and must be purchased separately). This technology allows you to cock the string by pressing the red button once. Everything works very quietly, so we can take the crossbow hunting with a clear conscience. If we are forced to interrupt shooting, we press the button again, which releases the limbs and the string. You can also forgo this technology and then you have a classic recurve crossbow cocked with a manual cocking device.
The body of the crossbow is made from high‑quality aluminium alloys on state‑of‑the‑art CNC machines. All its surfaces are anodised and coated with a layer with low light reflectivity.
Depending on its weight, the bolt reaches an initial speed of up to 330 fps (100 m/s). The draw weight is 225 lbs (102 kg), so we can rank this crossbow among models suitable for hunting at longer distances.
